Welcome to the Rotaract Club of Lalitpur Mid Town, an enthusiastic non-profit organization dedicated to service, leadership, and creating a positive impact. Since our charter on February 13, 2023, under the capable leadership of Charter President Rtr. Eliza Raut, our journey has been marked by a strong commitment to effecting meaningful change. We proudly stand as part of the global Rotaract movement, and it was an honor to receive our charter certificate from Jennifer Jones, the then Chairperson of Rotary International.
Our Inspirational Journey:
From the moment of our charter, we embarked on a remarkable journey characterized by service and growth. Guided by visionary leaders and bolstered by the dedication of our members, we have undertaken numerous projects that reflect our unwavering commitment to fostering a better world.
Diverse Projects and Initiatives:
Traffic Awareness Campaign: Our inaugural project, aimed at enhancing road safety and responsible driving, saw us collaborating with local traffic authorities to make our streets safer for all.
Empowering Canva Training: Recognizing the importance of digital skills, we organized Canva training sessions for our members. This initiative equipped them with design skills applicable to various projects and personal ventures.
Compassionate Health Camp: Our values of inclusivity and compassion were evident in our health camp held at a disabled home. We provided essential medical services and emotional support to those in need, embodying our dedication to care.
Global Fellowship through Cultural Exchange: On International Friendship Day, we celebrated diversity through a cultural exchange program with the Rotaract Club of Navi Mumbai. This initiative fostered international fellowship and cultural understanding, further amplified by our mega letterhead exchange.
Empowering Rotaract MUN: We joined hands with Rotaract Club of Dillibazar - KTM, RAC Kathmandu West, and RAC Patan Heritage to co-host Rotaract MUN, where our Charter President @elizaa_raut served as vice chairperson for the UNEP committee.
Informed Advocacy Campaigns: We successfully conducted a month-long online campaign in May, raising awareness about critical issues such as cancer and tobacco. Through informative posts, we highlighted the significance of various international observances, contributing to a more equitable and sustainable future.
Guiding Future Graduates: We organized "नवारंभ: A New Beginning," a career counseling event for SEE graduates, offering practical advice and personalized insights to aid them in making informed career decisions.
Supporting District Events: As a cohosting club, we played a vital role in Zonal COTS, a district event held on August 5, 2023.
Project झरीको खुशी!: Our project involved distributing lunch boxes to children at Shaligram Balgriha, spreading compassion and bringing smiles to their faces.
Serving the Community: We volunteered at the प्रथम शंखमुल तिर्थ श्रावणी महोत्सव, demonstrating our commitment to community service.
